To make things worse the roll-out period took longer than expected: almost an hour instead of the expected 2 or 3 minutes. If we had known it would take that long we would’ve scheduled it outside of working hours - when sites are usually less trafficked, and when the app is less active. Yup, hindsight is indeed a perfect science.
The upside is that Tank4.0 is now live: an update featuring the most complex set of changes we’ve yet made - ironically enough with the viewpoint of making things simpler. We’ll be be posting about what’s new and improved as soon as we manage to pull our heads out of the sand.
We hope you understand, and we’ll do our utmost to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
